Introductory events in winter semester
- Introductory meeting: Friday, 11 October 2019, 8:30 am (attention: modified time!), seminar room V3.141, Institute of Applied Mechanics, Pfaffenwaldring 9, university campus Vaihingen. The introductory meeting is intended to give more information about the COMMAS program, curriculum and some aspects of examination regulations.
- Opening ceremony: Monday, 14 October, 9:45 am, COMMAS lecture room V7.12, Pfaffenwaldring 7, university campus Vaihingen. Prof. Steeb (course coordinator) will give further information about the COMMAS program and introduce the lecturers.
What job prospects are available to me after graduation?
Graduates of this program can apply their knowledge in almost all engineering problems. Examples are simulation of automobile crash tests, prediction of failure load of materials, modeling biological tissues, development of functional materials to be used in robotics among others. COMMAS is a strongly research oriented program. Therefore the students are also ideally prepared for careers at universities, laboratories and research centers.
