Computational Linguistics - Master of Science

Our very important Introductory and Information Meeting will take place on Thursday, September 24, 2026, 1 pm CEST (until approx. 2:30 pm). It will be held online; admitted students will receive an e-mail containing the link.

Our very important Introductory and Information Meeting will take place on Thursday, October 1, 2026, 1 pm CEST (until approx. 2 pm). It will be held online; admitted students will receive an e-mail containing the link.

Electrical Engineering - Master of Science

The introductory lecture takes place in attendance on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at lecture hall V 47.04 (Pfaffenwaldring 47) and additionally online via webex.

Engineering Cybernetics - Master of Science

On October 6, 2025, there will be a welcoming event at 4:00 p.m. in Pfaffenwaldring 9, room 2.253.

To help you choose your specialization subjects at the beginning of your studies, presentations of the available specializations will take place on October 9, 2025 and October 10, 2025.

In the afternoon of October 10, 2025, there will be lab tours at three different institutes. Meeting point is at 1:20 .p.m. in front of PWR 9 (the entry when coming straight up from the S-Bahn).

On October 10, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. there is a get together in PWR9, room 5.253, where first semester students can meet students from higher semesters and lecturers.

Information Technology (INFOTECH) - Master of Science

The Introductory Lecture for new INFOTECH Students will be held on October 6th, 2026 from 10:00am - 11:00am (onsite at the university, PWR 47.03).

To ensure a smooth start to your Master's studies in Materials Science, we offer a range of informational events both before the official start of the semester and during the introductory phase.

The lecture period for the winter semester 2026/2027 will begin on October 5, 2026.

Comprehensive online introduction sessions will be offered on the following dates (Participation is strongly recommended):
