Important information: The “My Study Program” app will be relaunched in mid July 2026. Until the start of the 2026/27 winter semester in October, you will therefore have a choice of two apps on a transitional basis: “My Study Program” and “My Study Program NEW.” These instructions apply to the new version, “My Study Program NEW.”
From the beginning of the semester in October, only one app will be available: “My Study Program.” For more information, please check your student email.
The “My Study Program” app is the central entry point and comprehensive overview app in C@MPUS for your studies. In this application, you can find your study program structure, academic achievements, deadlines, and program-specific documents and links, and you can also register for exams and courses from here.
When you open the app, you see three sections:
- Panel with widgets and additional information about the study program,
- Curriculum for your study program(s) in a graphic structure and
- A more detailed view of the selected level in the curriculum.
Depending on the device you are using, these three sections may be arranged differently.
The panel offers a wide variety of widgets and overviews:
- My progress and my grade: Current grade point average and credits (ECTS) already earned.
- My deadlines: View the deadlines that apply to your program. "Maximum Duration of Study" indicates the total duration of the study program. You can find the exact deadlines and requirements for deadline extensions in the examination regulations for your study program.
- My planning: Overview and planning views. These views cannot be used to register for exams or courses!
- Semester plan: view exams, courses, and modules by semester
- Modules: overview of completed modules
- Exams: overview of completed exams
- Deadlines: view the deadlines that apply to your study program
- Planning tool: you can use this to plan your studies
- In Progress: overview of active modules
- My activities: overview of exams and courses you have already registered for. These views cannot be used to register for exams or courses!
- Program-specific links and documents: examination regulations, module handbook, curriculum and other important documents for your program.
- Helpful links: further information on exam administration (registration, withdrawal, recognition of past achievements etc.), academic formalities (leave of absence, re-enrollment, fees and tuition), counseling, and contact persons.
The curriculum lists all modules, exams, and courses associated with your study program. The curriculum complies with the requirements set forth in the examination regulations for the study program in which you are enrolled. The structure therefore also includes optional content (e.g., advanced master's modules) that you are not required to take as part of your study program, but may choose to take.
The following symbols will help you navigate the site:
Yellow square → Study programs: All components of a study program are grouped together in this section.
Purple pentagon → Section: Divides a course of study into logical, usually sequential sections.
Light blue rectangle → Grouping element: combines parts of a degree program into a single unit.
Red triangle → Courses and programs: courses and programs that can be taken as part of your study program.
Green Circle → Exam: courses for which exams must be taken.
If you are enrolled in multiple (partial)study programs at the University of Stuttgart, you can switch study programs by clicking on the program name. You can use the search bar to search for exams, courses, and modules, or their numbers. Search results are then highlighted in the corresponding module context or container. After you click on the relevant course or exam, you can see its status within curriculum or its assignment to the curriculum, or you can register for it. Please refer to the guidelines for exam registration and course registration.
When registering for courses and exams, please be sure to select the exam and/or course from the correct module container and register only for those.
For combined study programs or teacher education programs, multiple examination regulations apply (e.g., the general and specific sections for combined study programs). Each set of examination regulations is displayed separately as a graphic structure in C@MPUS. Therefore, to assess the status of your entire study program, you must always keep track of all its components. You can switch back and forth between your subfields using the program selector in the curriculum above.
You can view more detailed information by clicking on a section of the curriculum. This allows you to view additional details directly, such as ECTS credits and the status of the respective module container, module, course, or exam. Initially, this view displays all the so-called grouping elements of your study program.
Since this screen also displays the examination regulations for your study program, it includes elements that you can – but are not required to – file in accordance with your examination regulations.

Each exam has a unique number that identifies it as belonging to a specific degree program/exam regulations and module. It is also referred to as “Allocation to the Curriculum”. In the “My Study Program” app, you can find the assignment number for a specific examination in the submenu item “Status within Curriculum.”
To do this, follow these steps:
- Use the search bar above the curriculum to find the required exam.
- Click on the relevant exam. Be sure to select the exam in the correct module container.
- Then click on the exam currently being offered. You will then see the details for this exam.
- Go to the point "Status within Curriculum." Click the arrow next to the study program and the corresponding exam regulations to which you want to assign your exam.
- Now write down all the numbers one after another, separating each one with a minus sign. This corresponds to the number used to assign the exam to the respective curriculum.
If a grade for a specific exam in the study program “Aerospace Engineering (PO Version 2019)” (82-057-19), within the “Basic Module” group (100), is to be assigned to the module “Advanced Mathematics 1/2 for Engineering Programs” (45780) and the exam “Advanced Mathematics 1/2 for Engineering Programs” (45781), the correct C@MPUS node is: 82-057-19-100-45780-45781 (see the red borders in the screenshot).
