Information session

The information session is the first step on your way abroad.

Consultation hours at the International Office

The International Office remains closed until further notice. But we are happy to inform you that, as of now, we can offer face-to-face consultation hours upon appointment. Prerequisite: campUSticket in order to prove that you meet one of the 3-G requirements. Further information will be provided when you make your appointment:

Questions concerning German courses: moritz@ia.uni-stuttgart

Come and meet us at the IZ!

Online consultation hours at the International Office will continue to be offered to international students (Mo + Wed 1.30 p.m. to 4 p.m. & Tue + Thurs 10 a.m. to 12 noon) and for students interested in studying abroad (Mon + Wed 10 a.m. to noon). The IZ remains closed until further notice!

For most scholarship programs, application deadlines are 1 to 1.5 years before the start of the study abroad. You should therefore attend a group advising session early onso that you have enough time to plan and prepare your stay.

The information session provides you with information about the partner universities of the University of Stuttgart, the planning and preparation, the language requirements, application deadlines, and financing opportunities of different study abroad opportunities.

If you are planning to complete a thesis, a term paper, or a research project abroad, please make an appointment for one-on-one advising with the relevant program coordinator.

Please note that all information sessions are currently conducted in German. If you don’t feel that you have sufficient German language skills to follow a session, please contact the relevant program coordinator directly.
