Come to the International Office upon arrival in Stuttgart. We will help you to settle in and get started!

Due to the corona virus, our orientation program will be offered online. 

The International Office offers an orientation program for degree seeking students in April and October. During this program we organize special information meetings that will help you settle in and feel comfortable.

What is to consider when planning your stay in Stuttgart?

Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 3 p.m. CEST degree students of all study programs

Ideally, you should participate in this online seminar before your arrival in Germany. Participants of the intensive German course in September will be invited to a pre-departure information in August via e-mail.

You cannot make it to one of the pick-up dates? Please send an e-mail to incoming@ia.uni-stuttgart.de. We will find a solution!

If you need help with the paperwork feel free to join this small group meeting where we discuss the formalities in the beginning of your stay in Stuttgart. Grab your Welcome Checklist and come along!

What should I consider when living in a dormitory of the Studierendenwerk Stuttgart?

Students with a dorm room will automatically receive an invitation to this session via e-mail from the Studierendenwerk Stuttgart.

Exchange students

For exchange students, who participate in the intensive German course in September or March, the orientation program takes place during the language course.
Exchange students who do not participate in the intensive German course and arrive in October or April receive all information via e-mail.
