The Center for Integrated Quantum Science and Technology IQST, a collaboration between the universities of Stuttgart and Ulm, the Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research and the Federal Ministry for Education and Research (BMBF) invite you to attend this celebratory event on March 22 at the University of Stuttgart. As part of this event, the Quantum Future Award will be presented for the first time. Young scientists will be commemorated for their excellent and innovative final theses on application-oriented quantum technology.
Come and experience an exciting evening all about quantum technology, together with the finalists and guests from the fields of politics, science and industry: the lecture will be delivered by Professor Wolfgang Schleich, Head of the Institute of Quantum Physics at the University of Ulm. “The Fantastical World of Quanta – from the basics to applications” will be accompanied by two entertaining science slams. There will also be two fascinating quantum physics experiments for you to take part in, including a mini-golf game based on quantum mechanical effects – with a surprise in store: the golf ball is in a number of different places at once. Can you get it into the hole?
Participation is free.
