Students in advanced semesters who want to receive BaföG payments to finance their studies have to submit a certificate of academic achievement to the BAföG Office. This ensures that their academic progress is in line with the corresponding examination regulations. Every faculty at the University of Stuttgart has a representative permitted to issue such certificates according to §48 BAföG.
