Scientists from all over the world will be making their way to Stuttgart in January 2019 to work on issues in the field of folding at the third “Structural Origami Gathering”: How do insect wings actually work? Is it possible to fold anything? And of course: What applications might folding be used or in the architecture of the future and what are the implications of this? Top international researchers will be offering fascinating and surprising insights into their work, including Professor Erik Demaine from MIT and Professor Tomohiro Tachi from the University of Tokyo.
