The Deutschlandstipendium, also known as the National Scholarship Program, is a merit-based scholarship that supports the beneficiaries for (at least) one year. What is special about this scholarship: Half of the money comes from the Bund (federal authorities) and the other half comes from private donors (industry, individuals, foundations), whose motivation to get involved is in turn the responsibility of the institutions of higher education. The scholarships are awarded for one year.
Applications for the Deutschlandstipendium can be made in the winter semester; the precise date will be announced in good time.
