The lecture series "AI for engineers" presents methods of AI to solve current problems in science and economy in an innovative way by using AI. The lecture series presents the different perspectives of ten lecturers on the field.
On Wednesday, Gen. 24, 2024 at 3:45 p.m.,Brigitte Schönberger, Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Science (ENI), will speak on the topic of "Ethics in AI: The Good, the Bad and the Biased".
The lecture "The Ethics and Implications of AI: The Good, the Bad and the Biased" will discuss the ethical challenges and implications of artificial intelligence (AI). To this end, we will be addressing known biases in AI that arise from erroneous data and/or its processing. These often reinforce discrimination against certain groups of people and marginalized groups. This lecture provides insight into the ethical considerations that must be taken into account when developing and applying AI technologies to ensure that they are used for the benefit of society."
New lecture series "AI for engineers" in the framework of the project IKILeUS (HLRS / IHR). Valid as interdisciplinary key qualification FüSQ and in the thematic field module T9 Engineering Sciences but also for interested non-specialists.
