Fall 2020 brought sad news to friends of France. The Islamist murder of a teacher in Paris and three Christians in Nice, scandalous police brutality and violent rioting at demonstrations have clouded any view of what serious consequences might arise from the pandemic. But how are the people of France really fairing at the beginning of 2021? What topics are engaging politicians and society in general when one moves away from the headlines? As part of our Elysée Interview, the FAZ’s French correspondent Michaela Wiegel will be giving us his assessment of the situation from Paris.

This event is organized by the University of Stuttgart’s International Center for Cultural and Technological Studies (IZKT) and the Stuttgart City Library.

This event will be streamed live from the Stuttgart City Library.
