Introductions to English taught study programs

At the start of the winter semester, an introductory event for the Master (M.Sc.) in Aerospace Engineering program will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 from 01:00 p.m.  - 02:30 p.m. in room V 27.01.

At the start of the winter semester, an introductory event for the Bachelor (B.Sc.) in Aerospace Engineering program will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at 10 a.m. at the auditorium 47.01 (Vaihingen, Pfaffenwaldring 47).

In addition, the MentorING program takes place every year to provide orientation and to ensure an optimal start to studies, in which 15-20 students are supervised by two mentors for the first semester. Registration takes place via the website of the student group ("FLURUS").

Introductory event of the department: Friday, 10th October 2025, 10:00 a.m. - online.

Attendance introductory event of the program and the department:

• Monday, October 09, 2023 starting at 10:30 a.m.,
• Meeting point: Campus Stadtmitte in front of the entrance of Geschwister-Scholl-Str. 24D.

It starts at 10:40 a.m. with the welcome lecture in room M24.12, where you will learn everything important about the start of GeoEngine studies. The dean of studies, Prof. Hobiger, the institutes and the department will introduce the study program. You will get an overview of the study program, its structure as well as important aspects of the study and examination regulations.

The subsequent introductory meeting of the student representatives will begin at approximately 12:00 noon.

Information on Starting the Master's Program in Materials Science – Winter Semester 2025/2026

To ensure a smooth start to your Master's studies in Materials Science, we offer a range of informational events both before the official start of the semester and during the introductory phase.

Comprehensive online introduction sessions will be offered on the following dates (Participation is strongly recommended):
