The University of Stuttgart unequivocally condemns the terrorist attack on Israel by the Islamist Hamas, as well as their cruel massacres and kidnappings primarily targeting civilians.
At the same time, military action by Israeli forces against Hamas has dramatically exacerbated the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and claimed numerous civilian victims. The affected Palestinian civilians are equally in need of our help.
Our thoughts are with the victims of the conflict on both sides, especially the researchers and students who have been prevented from conducting their research, teaching and learning in the face of terror and war. The University of Stuttgart stands against hatred, violence and war as well as all forms of anti-Semitism or anti-Islamism.
