For first semester students

Get a good start by attending orientation events.

Introductory week: October 6 to October 12, 2025

The study programs, the student council (stuvus), the International Office, and the university warmly welcome you with a range of introductory events. Comprehensive details about the individual events will be released progressively from the end of July onward. Please check back regularly for updates.
The official start of lectures is Monday, October 13, 2025.

In this opening event the Student Council (stuvus) and the University welcome all first semester students.

Welcoming students from abroad

The Welcome Day for international students in the winter semester 2025/26 will take place on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.

The Student Counseling Center (ZSB) assists you not only in the weeks prior to semester start but all through your studies.
