The Graduate School of Excellence Advanced Manufacturing Engineering GSaME is an internationally leading centre to qualify up and coming managers through cutting edge research and innovation, orientated on the current and future specialist and management tasks of a global labour market. Under the banner “networking, agility, efficiency – the key to sustainable production“ the Graduate School GSaME will be providing information on current research results in the field of advanced manufacturing engineering at the annual conference 2018. After ten years of promotion within the excellence initiative, GSaME will take overall stock and presents its results in research, qualification as well as promoting up and coming managers in the framework of the event and will provide information on their prospects.
After being welcomed by Professor Wolfram Ressel, Rector of the University of Stuttgart, Ulrich Steinbach, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Science, Research and Art Baden-Württemberg, will speak a few words of greeting. You can expect lectures in the plenary session, among others by Dr Rainer Kallenbach, CEO Bosch Software Innovations GmbH, Professor Michael Hüther from the German Economic Institute Cologne as well as Professor Thomas Graf, Prorector of the University of Stuttgart and Head of the Institute for Radiation Tools.
In accompanying expert exhibitions, various lectures and a panel discussion, renowned experts from science and business will show with which strategies the demanding tasks from globally competitive production can be tackled efficiently. Doctoral graduates from GSaME will prove their efficiency in lectures and in the framework of the poster exhibition. The event will close with the award being presented for the “Best Dissertation of GSaME“.
