DHBW Stuttgart: e-scooter challenge

Three student teams from the Center for Interdisciplinary Teaching and Research (INDIS) have been working on a solution for transporting crates of beverages with e-scooters. They will be presenting their results and holding an on-site competition that demands both skill and speed. The scooters can be tested by the public following the competition.

Cyber Valley, the University of Stuttgart: Artificial Intelligence (AI) made easy – one square meter of AI What is Artificial Intelligence (AI), and what are the Universities of Stuttgart and Tübingen currently researching? How is AI already affecting members of the society today? Teams of students will each be providing answers to these questions using a self-designed square meter containing information about AI in an event that offers many opportunities for interaction. We will be providing a wealth of exciting insights into AI research and offering the opportunity to engage in dialogue with young researchers and to ask questions. University of Stuttgart: Formula Student Teams

The GreenTeam and the University of Stuttgart's Racing Team introduce their specially developed racing cars. With these, the teams take part in "Formula Student", the largest design competition for students, and are among the top teams in the world. Through driving demonstrations and exhibitions, you can experience the racing cars live.

University of Hohenheim: Knowledge creates change

How can Citizen Science help preserve biodiversity? How can a green idea be transformed into an innovative product? What can be done to prevent boredom in the pigsty and to promote more animal welfare? Is Green Marketing fit for the future? Students from the University of Hohenheim will be exploring these and other questions with a series of student research projects, working together with partners such as the Natural History Museum in Stuttgart, CorebyKMU and green start-ups. Across five stations, they will not only be presenting their findings, but also demonstrating with hands-on experiments how research-based learning works.

Organized by the State Capital Stuttgart, Department of Science and Universities, in cooperation with DHBW, Cyber Valley, University of Stuttgart and University of Hohenheim.

The event is part of the Stuttgart Science Festival 2022
