Due to the current development, the FIESA in Argentina was cancelled.

For the fourth time, the University of Stuttgart will be represented at the postgraduate trade fair EuroPós, which takes place in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo from March 7-11. Brazil is Germany’s most important trading partner in Latin America, even though the country is currently suffering from an economic crisis. More than 1,300 German-Brazilian companies in Brazil employ around 250,000 people. São Paulo is one of the most important places in the world for the German economy, with around 900 German-Brazilian companies (Source: DAAD). There is also a lot of interest in studying in Germany.

This is why a team of two people from the University of Stuttgart will be traveling to São Paulo (March 7-8) and Rio de Janeiro (March 10-11) again to answer questions from interested young people: Dr. Wolfgang Holtkamp, Senior Adviser International Affairs and official representative of the university; and André Maia, student in the international study program “Air Quality Control, Solid Waste and Waste Water Process Engineering” (WASTE), who can give a student’s perspective and speak to the prospective students in their native language.

For Wolfgang Holtkamp, it’s then on to the FIESA in Argentina, a combination of a networking and study abroad fair, with events in Buenos Aires (March 15-16) and Mar del Plata (March 17-20). In both countries, the advice will mainly be on the English-language study programs. (See also. videos about 12 English-speaking study programs on the University of Stuttgart’s Youtube channel)
