Office hours
The International Office offers office hours on site to international students and to all students interested in studying abroad:
Monday & Wednesday 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Tuesday &Thursday 10 a.m. to noon
Some of our staff members still work from home. Want to talk to a specific person? Then we recommend you make an appointment.

Online office hours at the International Office will be offered to international students (Mon & Wed 10 a.m. to noon) and for students interested in studying abroad (Mon & Wed 10 a.m. to noon).
For most scholarship programs application deadlines are 1 to 1.5 years before the start of the study abroad. You should therefore attend a group advising session at the International Office early on so that you have enough time to plan and prepare your stay.
The information session provides you with information about the partner universities of the University of Stuttgart, the planning and preparation, the language requirements, application deadlines, and financing opportunities of different study abroad opportunities.
If you are planning to complete a thesis, a term paper, or a research project abroad, please make an appointment for one-on-one advising with the relevant program coordinator at the International Office.
Please note that all information sessions are currently conducted in German. If you don’t feel that you have sufficient German language skills to follow a session, please contact the relevant program coordinator directly.

Registration
To sign up for an information session, please select a date and then fill out our registration form.
You can also sign up for several information sessions.
There is no confirmation of registration. You will receive a notification if the requested session is already fully booked or has been postponed.
If the form does not work, please send an email with the following information:
- your name
- your requested information session + date
- your email address
- your study program + your current semester
